Ninety Mile Consulting (NMC) is proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive Early Years Services Brief for Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV). This project, which focused on enhancing early childhood services in Falls Creek, has yielded valuable insights and recommendations for future development.
Project Scope and Methodology
The NMC team conducted a thorough analysis of the current state of early years services in Falls Creek, encompassing:
- Demographic profiling
- Early Years Demand assessment
- Early Years Supply evaluation
- Falls Creek Child Care’s performance
This in-depth examination provided a solid foundation for identifying potential options to address the unique challenges faced by families in Falls Creek and surrounding areas.
Option Evaluation Process
Following the initial analysis, NMC developed and evaluated six distinct options for improving early years services. The evaluation process was rigorous and multifaceted, considering:
- Various strategic lenses
- Potential risks
- Financial implications
This comprehensive approach ensured that all aspects of each option were carefully scrutinised to determine the most viable solutions for ARV.
Presentation of Findings
The culmination of this project was a presentation of our findings to the ARV Board in September. This presentation outlined:
- The current landscape of early years services in alpine resorts
- The six options developed and their respective evaluations
- Recommendations based on our analysis
Impact and Future Directions
NMC’s work on this project has provided ARV with a clear roadmap for enhancing early years services in Falls Creek. The insights gained from this brief will inform future decision-making and development plans, ultimately benefiting families and children in these unique communities. We at Ninety Mile Consulting are honoured to have contributed to this important initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on early years services in Falls Creek.
